Words to America

I spent a year of my life in this country, trying to understand it, to explore it, to have a grasp of it.
I did not make it.

But still, I cannot but be thankful to You for all I could bring back here, to the place I call home.
I cannot but be glad that there are places in the world where people are free to think and do what they believe is right.
I could not but stand in awe in front of what You accomplished over time.
I could not but feel like a tiny, lucky, amazed, inspired person while I was there.

Now, my knees are bent, my mind is stumbling.

Those places I saw, little time ago.
